Exiger to provide parts-level intelligence, supplier risk monitoring, and industrial base analytics for the ICBM enterprise to support the U.S. ground-based strategic deterrent
WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Exiger, the market-leading supply chain Super Intelligence (SI) company, today announced it has been awarded a $12 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Directorate with supply chain illumination and Defense Industrial Base analysis.
The ICBM enterprise is a cornerstone of U.S. strategic deterrence and a vital leg of the nuclear triad. To support enterprise resilience and maintain supply chain security across the DIB, Exiger is proud to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. Through advanced risk analytics and multi-tier supply chain insights, Exiger provides analytical capabilities to help enhance industrial base readiness and support long-term mission assurance.
"Ensuring 24/7 readiness in lockstep alongside strategic modernization is one of the most consequential missions in U.S. national security. This requires both the long-term orchestration of multiple strategic, sensitive supplier bases while very actively mapping and mitigating adversarial threats to the supply chain," said Scott LaFoy, Vice President of Nuclear and Technology Security Programs, Exiger. "Exiger's differentiated strength is our ability to connect supplier risk to the parts, materials, facilities, and industrial base dependencies that actually drive mission readiness and program performance. This award reflects the growing need for parts-level intelligence, continuous monitoring, and active risk mitigation across the most sensitive and highly targeted portions of the defense industrial base."
Unlike traditional supplier risk tools that focus primarily on company-level risk, Exiger's SI platform is built to illuminate risk at the part, supplier, material, and sub-tier dependency level. Exiger's approach will help the ICBM Systems Directorate identify obsolescence risk, single-source dependencies, supply chain fragility, vendor viability concerns, counterfeit or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages-affected components, workforce gaps, and supplier readiness issues. The platform will also provide predictive analytics to support part obsolescence forecasting, vendor behavior tracking, forecasted inventory action timelines, and risk mitigation planning.
This award further expands Exiger's support to U.S. defense and national security customers and reinforces the company's role as a trusted partner for mission-critical supply chain intelligence, defense industrial base analysis, and operational risk management.
