CLEVELAND, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Raye Caruso enters the final days of her campaign for Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge with endorsements from law enforcement, firefighters, organized labor, mayors and community organizations across the political spectrum.
Her supporters include the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association, Fraternal Order of Police Eighth District, Cleveland Firefighters IAFF Local 93, Northern Ohio Fire Fighters and Laborers Local 860.
Elected supporters include State Senator Jerry Cirino and mayors Greg Kurtz of Independence, Tom Perciak of Strongsville, Dennis Clough of Westlake, Daryl Kingston of Brecksville, Chuck Brunello of Highland Heights, Cyril Kleem of Berea and Anthony Biasiotta of Seven Hills. Five Strongsville council members, Westlake Law Director Michael P. Maloney and other municipal officials have also endorsed Caruso. Community support includes the Cleveland Association of Middle Eastern Organizations (CAMEO), Black Women's Army and American Nationalities Movement.
A working mother of three, founder of Caruso Law Offices and attorney licensed in state and federal courts, Caruso has more than 15 years of courtroom experience, beginning before her admission to the bar in 2013. She would be the first judge in her family, having already become its first lawyer.
"I learned the importance of justice after losing my mother to medical malpractice as a teenager," said Caruso. "My family navigated the legal system while grieving an unimaginable loss. Today, having worked as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and advocate for victims, I understand how profoundly court decisions affect families. I believe in accountability, safe communities, constitutional rights and fairness for everyone who enters a courtroom."
Caruso's experience includes serious felony trials, juvenile matters, victim representation, civil protection orders and complex litigation. She emphasizes preparation, impartiality and decisions grounded in the law and facts of each case.
A graduate of Ohio University and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Caruso and her husband, Anthony, a firefighter-paramedic, are raising their three children in Cuyahoga County. They established the Caruso Family Giving Project in honor of her late mother.
Caruso seeks the six-year term beginning January 2, 2027. Election Day is November 3.
